We can all agree that measuring cups are truly essential, yes? But which set? The world is full of measuring cups, from the utilitarian to the purely decorative. This stainless steel set won our final judgment. They’re 100 percent accurate (you’d be amazed at how many aren’t!). If you're even semi-serious about baking, a kitchen scale is a must. How else will you weigh out the perfect amount of flour or try that recipe you found on an international cooking blog? A wok just might be the most fun piece of cookware and several of editors argued passionately for its role as an essential in their kitchens. What's more everyday and essential than a 13x9-inch pan? What gets made in one? What doesn't. This basic metal dish is our go-to for brownies, blondies, sheet cake, tuna noodle casserole, lasagna ... you get the idea. “Whether you’ve got a baby in your house or not, I strongly recommend this dish soap,” says Faith. “It's scent-free (I hate when dishes smell faintly of perfume!).
